How often should I brush my hair?
you have curly or textured hair
If you have curly or tangled hair, you know that untangling those knots is no fun. Fortunately, you don’t have to do this multiple times a day or even every day.
If you’re blessed with naturally wavy hair, you only need to brush it every few days, and if you’re proudly embracing your textured hair, you can brush it once a day. week or even every two weeks to avoid damaging your curls.
you have long or dry hair
Long hair certainly looks beautiful and can easily draw attention to itself, but taking care of it is a full-time job. In addition to shampoos, hair masks, and conditioners, you’ll need a comb, styling brush, and detangling brush to keep your locks tangle-free.
If your hair is long or very dry, it is recommended to brush it 3 times a day to prevent tangles and stimulate the production of natural oil that helps keep your hair naturally nourished.
Your hair is damaged or thinning
If your hair is thin and prone to breakage, that means you’ll need a gentler approach to brushing it. Detangling weakened hair too forcefully can damage the hair’s protective cuticle layer, making it even more vulnerable to damage.
To prevent breakage, start brushing your hair gently at the ends and work your way down to the roots to prevent knots and tangles.

While it may seem tempting to quickly run a comb through damp hair to help it dry faster, it can actually damage your strands. Hair is more fragile when wet, and brushing it carefully is key if you want your locks to stay shiny and healthy for longer.
Use a wide tooth comb to detangle damp hair and never force it through the strands to prevent breakage and damage to the hair.
